A new report, Counting the cost of fossil fuels in the Pacific, released today by the UNSW Institute for Climate Risk & Response (ICRR), found Pacific nations spend between 10% and 25% of GDP on fossil fuel imports—more than the regional average of 8% for education and 6% for health.
