Recycling discarded solar panels could yield $1 trillion by 2060, analysis finds

The world’s rapid shift to solar power is creating a massive new waste problem, with up to 402 million tonnes (443 million tons) of discarded solar panels projected to accumulate globally by 2060, according to new research involving Adelaide University.
